Fly Project is a Romanian dance and Latin pop band from Bucharest, Romania. After achieving commercial success in Europe, Fly Project was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards at the Best Romanian Act category, in 2011. Since the group’s foundation in 2005, they had more than 2000 concerts worldwide.

The band made its chart debut in 2005 with their first single, “Raisa”, single that became a moderate success in Europe, the song charting, among others, on the French Singles Chart and on native Romanian Top 100. Following a short musical hiatus, the band released “Brasil”, which topped the charts in countries like Romania, Russia, Greece, Spain, Moldavia, Turkey, Holland, Serbia and Hungary. Furthermore, the single was nominated for “Best Dance Song” at the Romanian Music Awards.

Fly Project’s most successful song is the global hit “Toca-Toca”. The single topped the charts in Spain and Serbia, while peaking at #4 in France and being present inside the top 20 in other fifteen countries. It was again certified gold in Italy and it brought the band the Best Dance Award and the Border Breaker Award at the Romanian Music Awards.

The fall of 2016 brought yet another collaboration for Fly Project, this time alongside one of the most famous Romanian singer, Andra, for the song “Butterfly”. The single gained both national and international attention, charting inside the top 20 in Romania and inside top 5 in Poland.

After a shift towards a more club-oriented sound with Jolie, the band topped the charts once again with “Get Wet”, gathering over 60 million views on Youtube.

“Mexico” is the band’s latest single and it marked their return to the formula that made them an household name by mixing their unique production with both English and Spanish lyrics. It amassed over 9 million YouTube views and 900k Spotify streams.
